This piece was the first in a series of large works of collaged thumbnails, the trimmings from larger works. I was thinking about the collective vs individual beauty and the metaphors within. I’m always looking for new ways to take the many layers I’ve built and deconstruct them to their essence, and then rebuild a new piece from the fragments.
