This piece is one of my largest Hybrids. For me, my comfort zone of painting this type of work is in the 18" square range. This piece challenged me to balance line and color with a wide peripheral of positive and negative space. I wanted this piece to represent urban landscapes that can span extensive blocks through major thorough fares, as well as the low maintenance flora along buildings and sidewalks.
