This piece is one of my largest Hybrids. For me, my comfort zone of painting this type of work is between 10"-18" square range. This piece challenged me to balance line and color with a wide peripheral of positive and negative space. I wanted this piece to represent urban landscapes and the low maintenance flora along buildings and sidewalks, through busy thoroughfares.
