This is one of a pair, it is the sister to “We took the long way around” and the two are often hung together, but don’t have to be. This piece, as well as all of the “doors” can also be hung horizontally, hence the second view. These doors in particular, served as work tables of mine for many years, accumulating over-sprays, overprints, dings, spills, notes and a plethora of other random marks and histories. These were worktables for a number of years and have supported the making of works ranging from 2012-2017.

Each is framed and has a cleat that runs around all four edges so it can be hung in multiple orientations.
